Excellent location, comfy, cozy home. Easy to get to lots of interesting places when weather allows. Plenty of parking. We met the farmer and he was welcoming and kind. We enjoyed having a fire, and using the games room.

Neighbourhood information

The village of Llanbrynmair is located between Carno and Machynlleth in Powys, Mid Wales, where the rivers Twymyn, Laen and Rhiw Saeson meet. In nearby Carno are the remains of a roman fort adjoining the churchyard, and eleven miles away the small market town of Machynlleth sits amid the rolling hills of Mid Wales. The streets of Machynlleth town spread out from the 19th century clock tower, and offer a good mix of specialist shops, pubs, and cafes, in addition to the regular street markets held every Wednesday. The town boasts two art galleries, and is home to the Museum of Modern Arts. With Newtown, Welshpool, and a little further, Aberystwyth within reach, makes Llanbrynmair the perfect base for a relaxing Welsh holiday.
