The Graythwaite Estate is family-run and spans some 5,000 acres of land, nestled in the beautiful English Lake District. It is home to the Sandys family who have lived at the Estate for over 500 years, since the first Graythwaite Hall was built.

Hazelseat House is a modern, detached property sat within the Graythwaite Estate, between the village of Hawkshead and the town of Ulverston, sat along the shore of Windermere, Cumbria. The surrounding woodland vista is a postcard worthy backdrop and one of our favourite views on the Estate. ****PLEASE NOTE - SWIMMING POOL NOT LOCATED WITHIN PROPERTY******* It is a shared facility on the estate based at Home Farm Courtyard, a short drive from the property. Private sessions are booked prior to arrival.

Just a short drive to Grubbin’s Point and the Windermere shores, you will have easy access to adventure and activities from your countryside home-from-home. The property is a less than 15 drive from the historic, sweet village of Hawkshead, home to many adored restaurants and pubs.
