I was born in Prestatyn, a beautiful coastal town in North Wales, and raised in Mid Wales surrounded by the stunning Welsh countryside. The rolling hills, dramatic landscapes, and rich history of Wales will always have a special place in my heart. After spending my childhood and early years there, I moved to West Yorkshire to study, where fate led me to meet Darrel. We’ve built a life together filled with adventure, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the joys of family and home. We’re proud parents of two grown-up children, Tom and Lily, and we absolutely adore our grandson, Henry, who brings so much happiness into our lives. Having recently retired (well, mostly—I'm still staying busy with the caravan and all), I now have more time to focus on creating an even more welcoming space for our guests. Darrel, on the other hand, is not quite ready for full retirement yet, but we’re both working towards enjoying this next chapter of life to the fullest. We’ve always believed that holidays are about more than just a change of scenery—they’re about making memories, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying the little moments. Hosting guests in our caravan allows us to share that philosophy with others. We genuinely love knowing that our guests are having a great time, whether they’re relaxing in the spacious living room, cooking up a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, or enjoying a peaceful night’s sleep.
