A hidden gem at the gateway to the Lake District National Park. This traditional stone cottage is packed full of character and charm, complete with electric log burner for a relaxing break, outdoor adventure or exploring the countryside with your family. Perfect for exploring the historic towns and villages close by with a 10 minute drive from Lake Windermere & all the Lake District National Park has to offer.

Neighbourhood information

Burneside village is in a green valley conveniently located at the Gateway to the Lake District National Park, a stones throw from the market town of Kendal, and a short 10 minute journey to the centre of the Lakes. The village has the River Kent running through it which also forms part of the popular Dales Way, an 80 mile walk between Bowness-on-Windermere within the National Park and Ilkley. The village itself has an excellent chip shop (fish and chips are AMAZING), a railway station, pub and a convenience store just a few minutes walk away, and is a 5 minute drive from Carrus Green Golf Club.
