Set in the heart of its own 15 acres, Holly Lodge is a secluded 170-year-old hunting lodge on the edge of Ravenshead. There are 4 self-contained rooms available in converted barns, complete with ensuites, places to hang clothes and a selection of tea and coffee. The formal grounds of Holly Lodge comprise landscaped gardens laid mainly to lawn with: flower borders, a variety of mature trees and shrubs, two ornamental lily ponds, an outdoor tennis court, a communal lawn courtyard with outdoor sofas, and a games room that doubles as a workspace. The grounds comprise 5 acres of woodland and three generous paddocks.

The area is a popular equestrian location with bridleways into Sherwood Forest, and close by is Fountain Dale - in legend, the place where Robin Hood fought Little John on a bridge over the stream. Newstead Abbey Park, Harlow Wood and Thieves Wood are located within approximately 2 miles, all offering areas of easily accessible natural beauty and historical interest. Center Parcs Sherwood Forest is a short 25-minute drive away. We’re sure you’ll enjoy your stay at Holly Lodge as you experience all of the things Blidworth has to offer.
