Brand new for 2022, Knight Retreat is a very contemporary holiday apartment in the heart of Whitby. Sleeping two guests, this cosy, yet spacious apartment is perfect for couples getaways at the seaside. Located in the centre to the town centre, the ground floor apartment is within walking distance of all that Whitby has to offer. Knight Retreat really does have everything you’ll need for a relaxing break by the sea.

Neighbourhood information

Knight Retreat is located right in the centre of Whitby so you’ll have all the amenities you need right on your doorstep. On the west side of town, Venture along Pier Road and you’ll see arcades and shops, plus plenty more pubs and restaurants. Keep walking and you’ll reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff beach which is lined with beach huts. Take a stroll along the pier and watch the waves lap the shores below. Head over the swing bridge which crosses the River Esk and you’ll find yourself on the east side of Whitby. Climb the famous 199 steps and you’ll arrive at the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
