Delightful old house in the midst of beautiful countryside. We are in-between the popular towns of Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford. We have a ground floor twin room (with two steps into) and a spacious triple/double room upstairs. This room has a double and single bed in it.

We try to ensure our guests are comfortable and have everything they need. We are informal and welcome guests as friends.

Pretty quiet village in the heart of Leicestershire. Not far from us you can find the market towns of Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough and Oakham. Bradgate Park is a huge unspoiled open space with deer and home of Lady Jane Grey 9 days queen of England. Leicester Cathedral holds the new tomb of King Richard 111. The city also has The Space Centre and the High Cross shopping centre. Of course Leicester is a must for sports visitors as we can boast Leicester City Football Club, Tigers Rugby and Leicestershire County Cricket Club. Around Hungarton, there are many outstanding walks to nearby villages where there are plenty of village pubs for refreshments. Please note - there is not a shop or post office in Hungarton. However The Black Boy serves good food. There are several other good pubs serving food in the area.
