Kilmeny Country House sits in the heart of Islay, commanding magnificent views over the surrounding hills and glen. This business has been established for 43 years, and since the inception of the star quality grading scheme it has gained the highest award possible of 5 stars with the addition of the prestigious GOLD award being added.
All double rooms have both bath and shower ensuite, and all rooms have a fridge to ensure guests have every amenity to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. Traditional breakfasts are cooked to order with a wide range of alternative breakfasts dishes available such as Eggs Florentine, Argyll Smoked Salmon or French Toast are on the extended menu.
Visitors particularly enjoy the peace and tranquility of Kilmeny. Guests often choose to sit in the gardens watching the varied wildlife that frequents the farmlands of Kilmeny, yet only being a half a mile away from the main arterial road through Islay.
