Company information

My husband Topsy is a retired Royal Navy Submariner who now spends most of his time in the garden growing the guests' breakfast, although he also makes the beds and helps out as the laundry officer. My name is Bridget, and I generally run and manage the rest of the BnB; I like talking to our guests and making sure they feel at home. I play tennis, enjoy walking and sometimes get involved in gardening too. Tops likes his Friday nights out at RBL with his mates and a pint or two.

Property information

Kilna is a detached Georgian house overlooking the Tiddy Valley, surrounded by Cornish Countryside. Each of our rooms has its own unique character and charming country views. We offer tasty homecooked breakfasts, that can be enjoyed in our warm dining area, or, on a good day, outside in the sun. As a family-run B&B, we strive to offer a homely feel; whether it be for a quick stop or a longer stay, we look forward to welcoming you into our home.

Neighbourhood information

We are situated just outside the village of Tideford, which has a local old Cornish Pub which is very popular. There is a delightful lane at the side of the house, it's lovely for walking your dog and taking in some fresh air. We are surrounded by pleasant country views and have a south-facing patio and summer house. The nearest beach is 20 minutes by car, it's the ideal spot to go surfing or just have a relaxing stroll on the sand. We're only 10 miles from Plymouth and the tourist town of Looe for other activities or the Eden Project is only 45 minutes away.
