Our rooms are very spacious and include en-suite facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. Rooms are warm and comfortable and tastefully decorated.
Myself and my Husband enjoy welcoming guests to our home and are happy to advise you of all the things on offer locally to make your stay a memorable one. We have been welcoming guests for around 15 years now and enjoy meeting people from all over the world.
Kindale House is ideally situated in the heart of the lovely village of Helmsdale we offer lovely spacious recently refurbished rooms all offering en-suite facilities. A warm welcome awaits you at Kindale House where you can relax and enjoy your comfortable surroundings and enjoy a delicious hearty home cooked breakfast. We are 5 mins walk away from the railway station and bus stops are also walking distance. Timespan Museum and Riverside Café is situated less than 2 mins walk and is well worth a visit - here you can find an art gallery, gold panning information and plenty of information and pictures of the Highland clearances. Walking distance to the picturesque harbour and also the beautiful river Helmsdale all right here on our doorstep. We can arrange fishing permits if you fancy a day on the river. Dunrobin Castle is only 16 miles south and again I would highly recommend a visit to this wonderful castle and stunning gardens that lead down to the sea, they have a falconery display here daily that is also a real must do.
