「We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher Lodge, so peaceful and quiet. Sat outside with a cuppa and the horses came to visit - wonderful. There is everything you need in the lodge and it is warm and cosy. Plenty of local walks too. Would love to return.」

「Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. The setting is lovely and the view from the garden was very peaceful. Great location for walkers.」
Situated in the small village of Froggatt, the stone built property has a secluded south facing position in a peaceful location. The single storey lodge nestles within our small holding and over looks grazing land and the River Derwent. Decorated and furnished to a high standard offering a cosy home from home atmosphere. Approached by a private driveway with ample parking. We welcome ONE dog small to medium in size but no large breeds please.
Froggatt is a small village on the A625 road close to the River Derwent and has a quaint 17th century bridge. It is ideally located for outdoor activities such as walking, climbing the Froggatt Edge and cycling. The local pub is the Chequers Inn and there is a well stocked Spar shop and petrol station located in the nearby village of Calver. Walking to the top of the Froggatt Edge is rewarded by a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside.
