Just down the road, you’ll find Mainsgill Farmshop, a popular family-run farm shop with an award-winning butchery counter, delicatessen, bakery, and all-day cafe. Further afield we recommend visiting Richmond and Barnard Castle, two charming Yorkshire market towns, and both within a 20-minute drive. There are plenty of great pubs in the local area to enjoy, with the closest just two miles away. For those who want to be pampered, The Garage Spa is just a few miles west. Or perhaps treat yourselves to a private dining experience by one of our amazing partner local chefs! The Yorkshire Dales are a short drive away, and nearby Stang Forest is a good walking spot and great for family picnics. It’s also an easy drive to the North York Moors, or a wonderful day on the Yorkshire Coast.
