A luxury chalet, constructed in 2021, with its own private balcony overlooking the sea & coastal footpath. The chalet is 5 minutes walk from the beautiful beaches of Gorran Haven. A complimentary bottle of fizz awaits your arrival! Living area & kitchen are well equipped & overlook the seaview. To the rear is the bedroom - equipped with king-sized bed & luxury bath, plus a walk-in shower & separate toilet. French doors lead off the bedroom to a private sun-deck. Kittiwake Retreat is designed with luxury and relaxation in mind. It has a coffee machine supplied with free coffee pods, a complimentary goodies basket upon your arrival and every essential like dishwasher tablets, wash powder etc are supplied. There is a modern electric fire which gives a cosy feel to the living space. The chalet is designed with two outdoor spaces for catching the most of the sun and for enjoying al fresco dining. Double doors between the living space allow views of the sea from the bedroom and indeed the bath! The French doors off the bedroom open onto the large rear decking which is equipped with comfy settee and chairs plus a dining table and gas BBQ. This area is extremely spacious, private and catches the sun all day long - a lovely place to relax, read and dine.

The location of Kittiwake Retreat could not be more perfect for beach or coastal walking. The Lost Gardens of Heligan (10 minutes drive) and the Eden Project (30 minutes drive) are all close by too. The village, which is 3 minutes walk away, has a general store (Cakebreads) which also encompasses the post office, cafe and fresh bakery where you can purchase your breakfast croissants, pastries and the all-important home-made Cornish pasties! There is also a beachside cafe (The Mermaid), selling ice creams, coffees, teas and snacks to take onto the beach. In addition to these, the village also has The Coastpath Cafe, which serves local delicacies, homemade soups, sandwiches and cakes. In the Summer months it has outside seating overlooking the sea - perfect for a well-deserved break after walking the coastal path. The village also has a fantastic fish and chip shop, with licensed restaurant attached, serving locally-caught fresh fish. During the Summer months, local live bands also perform in the village. The coastal path and beaches of Gorran Haven can be accessed within three minutes walk of the property. The unspoilt beaches of Vault, Hemmick and Porthluney (with Caerhays Castle) are also easily reached either by the coastal path or a very short drive away. The quaint fishing village of Mevagissey is a beautiful coastal walk away or a 15 minute drive. It has a range of shops and restaurants and a picturesque working harbour where fresh fish can be bought off the quay. Day trips by boat to Fowey can also be accessed from here. In the neighbouring village of Gorran Churchtown (5 minutes drive/20minutes walk away), there is the Barley Sheaf pub with its award winning restaurant, beer garden and roaring fires in the Winter months. The chalet is also perfectly located for discovering the Roseland peninsula and its many beaches, villages and coastal walks.
