Lady Margaret's is a luxury 5 bedroom Georgian Townhouse in the fashionable historic centre of Bath. Awarded a special Gold for 'exceptional quality of accommodation and customer service' by VisitEngland, this stunning property provides the perfect self-catering holiday accommodation for your special stay. Newly available after extensive renovations, Lady Margaret's combines refined Georgian elegance with modern luxury. Ideal for families, friends and small groups, Lady Margaret's sleeps up to 10 in comfort in 5 double bedrooms (with a choice of twin or double beds). If extra numbers are required - the property will sleep a very maximum of 12 at a real squeeze using the additional options of a sofa bed in the Drawing Room and both an extra day bed and an extra truckle bed in the largest en-suite bedroom. Dining is for up to 12. Please note that Lady Margaret's adheres to a strict Good Neighbour Policy. Parties are strictly forbidden and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. The property is located in a sophisticated and peaceful residential neighbourhood and it is our primary objective to keep our lovely neighbours just that: i.e. lovely.
I am a semi-retired advertising executive and was a Director of our local tourist organisation called VisitBath for a number of years. I moved down from London to Bath with my wife Kate about 30 years ago and have been in love with the City ever since. In terms of Lady Margaret's, I tend to care for the management and Kate looks after the interior design - we also rely on a brilliant team of cleaners and other specialists to keep everything 'just so'. Outside of work I love comedy and founded the Bath Comedy Festival a few years ago. I am also addicted to sailing and currently race a Solo dinghy at Chew Valley Lake Sailing Club about 15 miles to the west of Bath.
Located in a beautiful and secluded pedestrianised shopping street, you will find this gem of a property between two of Bath's most glamorous landmarks: The Royal Crescent; and the King's Circus. All the major tourist sights are just a short walk away including the Thermae Bath Spa, the Roman Baths and the Abbey. The area is a shopper's and diner's delight with the very best of the City literally on your doorstep. However please note that one of our greatest benefits - the fact that you can hear a pin drop at night, is also one of our biggest challenges - the fact that our neighbours can be easily disturbed. We adhere to a strict Good Neighbour Policy and any anti-social behaviour including upraised voices and music at night will not be tolerated.
