This terraced seaside cottage dates back to 1850, and boasts a beautiful interior, in the style of the Arts and Crafts movement typical of the time, which was inspired and led by William Morris in the late 19th-century. The well-equipped kitchen/dining room is bespoke and is made up of oak units. The lovely living room boasts a large smart TV and a warming electric wood burner. The property is situated in the village of St Leonards-on-Sea, close to the fishing town of Hastings, which enjoys 3 miles of award-winning shingle beach, and plenty of footpaths for walking and cycling. The coastal cycle path which runs from Hastings to Bexhill On Sea is just 400 yards from the property. There is a plethora of independent shops, a cinema, cafés, pubs and restaurants within walking distance as well as a train station with direct trains to London Charing Cross. The medieval town of Hastings with its historic beach backed by grand whitewashed Edwardian buildings and fine Victorian pier (awarded ’Pier of the Year’ in 2017) is just a mile away.
