Leadon View Oak is a charming single-storey lodge with two bedrooms: one super-king-size (zip/link can be twin on request) and one twin (zip/link can be super-king-size on request). The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. The open-plan living space includes a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area with a sofa bed for extra flexibility. The property offers gas central heating, an electric oven, hob, fridge, TV, a hairdryer and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. Outside, enjoy the shared enclosed garden with lawn, patio, and furniture. Off-road parking is available for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome (please keep pets off the furniture). No smoking. One of the most attractive market towns in the Vale of Leadon, Newent, formerly a Roman settlement, offers a wide range of attractions, including the half timbered Old Market Hall dating back to 1668, traditional inns, restaurants, tea rooms and individual shops. Newent is situated on the northern edge of the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering numerous trails that can be explored on foot, bicycle or horseback. Just a short drive away is the popular Three Choirs Vineyard and the delightful waterfront city of Gloucester with its Roman foundations, Victorian docklands and a spectacular Norman Cathedral. The historic market town of Ross-on-Wye is also close by and visitors to this area can enjoy day trips to delightful Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains and the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park.
