The quaint village of Winterton-on-Sea lies on the picturesque Norfolk coast, just 8 miles from Great Yarmouth. Set apart from the more commercial seaside locations, Winterton-on-Sea has a vast and unspoilt sandy beach and a peaceful nature reserve that has attracted colonies of Terns and rare Natterjack toads. Boasting old fishermen's cottages, thatched roofs and a village church dating back to the 12th century, the village makes a perfect base for a relaxing holiday. The nearby popular seaside resort of Great Yarmouth offers a change of pace with many shops, one of Britain’s largest open air markets, numerous museums and the popular Pleasure Beach! A holiday location blending tranquillity and activity - there really is something for everyone!
