John is a retired race car driver, who keeps his hand in by coaching/instructing at Thruxton MotorSport, also very keen on vintage and classic cars, his latest beauty is a 1973 MGB roadster. But has owned a string of Austin Sevens and various race cars. Cutting the grass now takes up a lot of his day

Folke is a hamlet of 12 houses far from the maddening crowd, thus making your stay quiet and peaceful, yet Sherborne is just 3 miles away with 2 supermarkets and a wonderful high street close to traffic between 10 am and 4 pm, Not forgetting our magical Abbey and museum. Drive 9 miles to Yeovil and you will find every shop or superstore you will ever need. Or just take one of our many walks from the house perhaps taking in a village pub.
