Loughborough is the second largest city in Leicestershire, England and just a short drive from Nottingham and Derby. It has a rich history, detailed in its many museums, shops, architecture, and festivals. It is the home of Loughborough University and is a thriving market town. The apartment is well placed for all local amenities. Loughborough Town centre is a 15 minute walk away where you can find all manner of restaurants and bars - something to suit all tastes. The Boat Inn can be found five minutes across the bridge where the food is reasonably priced and you can sit next to the canal and enjoy a drink. Alternatively Tesco can be found a few minutes away by car or walking. We are located 2 miles from Loughborough University, and the Great Central Railway is also within walking distance Loughborough Train station is only 0.4 miles away. The bus stop can be found outside the apartment that will take you to wherever you want to go. Local taxi numbers are provided on the information sheet that you will find in the apartment on arrival.
