Hi we are Ben and Louise, welcome to our beautiful Barn, nestled in the grounds of Grade II listed Oulton Smithy set in the stunning Cheshire countryside. We take the approach that it is your getaway and we are here if you should need us, otherwise we like to leave you in peace to enjoy the space and explore the surroundings if you wish. We give the option of lock box key entry or ‘meet and greet’ on request, the choice is yours. We provide a detailed information guide folder in the Barn and we are available readily via text, phone or message on here to answer any questions or fulfil guest’s requests.

We’re in a rural location close to woodland walks through Little Budworth country park (just across the road) and a working dairy farm. The main attraction on our doorstep is Oulton Park Race Circuit, well worth a visit. Other highlights are ~ The Hollies Farm Shop and cafe ~ Ginger & Pickles cafe in Tarporley ~ Delamere forest ~ Wild Shore adventure lake ~ Snugburys ice cream farm ~ Cotebrook Shire horse Centre ~ Blakemere Craft Centre ~ Highly recommended cosy country pubs such as The Egerton Arms and The Fox & Barrel (both walking distance) ~ Boutiques, cafes, restaurants & bars in nearby Tarporley ~ City of Chester, including Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks outlet village.
