Stunning property situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of Stromness with striking, uninterrupted views across the Pentland Firth and Scapa Flow. Bedroom1: Super King Bed Bedroom 2: King Size bed Bedroom 3: King size/Twin bed (room will be set up as king size bed. Please specify if you require twin bed on booking) The Property: South facing 3 bedroom detached property built in 2015 to an incredibly high standard. Comprising an open plan modern kitchen/living room, separate living room on the upper level with a multi fuel stove and outstanding views, Oak finishing's throughout, enclosed garden, BBQ area, & patio area. Location: The property is situated in a peaceful location on the outskirts of the small town of Stromness, where you will find local amenities including supermarket, butcher, baker deli, and pharmacy. Stromness is located only 6 miles from Maeshowe and the standing stones of Stenness, and 8 miles from the Ring of Brodgar. Kirkwall airport is 19 miles from the property.
We’re a young Orcadian family with 2 children. I (Gina) work for the NHS and my husband (Ross) is a self employed joiner. Ross built this stunning property as our family home in 2015. We were both brought up in Orkney and have lived in Orkney all our lives and couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to bring up our children.
Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine in front of the log burner in the upstairs living room, with views across to Hoy and even the mainland of Scotland on a clear day. Sky TV is available in both the kitchen living space and the upstairs living area. Enjoy outstanding scenery and views with walks for all abilities right on your doorstep.
