Hi, I'm Fiona and I'm based near Wakefield. After travelling around the world for 17 months and experiencing varying standards of holiday accommodation; and from my stays at hospital staff accommodation when working as a midwife in the UK and overseas, I'm passionate about providing the best possible experience for our guests! If travelling for work I appreciate the importance of having somewhere comfortable to stay with the availability of the necessary ameneties in order to relax and unwind after work. For leisure guests my experiences have taught me that the little touches can make a big difference to how enjoyable your time away will be.

Welcome to Yorkshire Short Stays' debut property! Situated in an exclusive small development and perfectly designed to accommodate up to 10 guests, this luxury home away from home boasts four large bedrooms with zip link beds and a dedicated office space with the option to use the double sofa-bed to turn this into a fifth bedroom. Relax in the generous living room while enjoying far-reaching views of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside from the balcony, looking out towards Emley Moor. Cook and dine in elegance in the exquisite kitchen/diner which has ample room for all guests and leads out to a beautifully maintained back garden where you can also BBQ & dine Alfresco. There are two bathrooms, a WC. and a utility room.

• Situated between the towns of Ossett and Dewsbury • 6 minutes’ drive to Dewsbury Train Station where you can reach Leeds city centre by train in 20 minutes. • By car you can reach Wakefield in 15 minutes, Leeds in 25 minutes and Huddersfield and Bradford in 30 minutes. • Easy access to the M1 and M62 motorways. • For those working at or visiting Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust we are a 16 minute drive from Pinderfields Hospital and 8 minutes from Dewsbury and District Hospital. • Some of the local tourist attractions include Diggerland, the National Coal Mining Museum and Ponderosa Zoo. Hanging Heaton Golf Club is only 5 minutes’ drive away and you can walk to Earlsheaton Park in 20 minutes. • Local amenities that are less than 10 minutes' walk away include 2 pubs, a NISA Local, a Post Office and an Indian Takeaway.
