Company information

Established in 2010, Hassop Station brought to life the old railway station with the renovation as a café and gift shop. Monsal Trail cycle hire was opened a year later in 2011, opened to service visitors to the area with hiring bikes to explore the Monsal Trail which is situated next to the café & accommodation. The café is open 362 days a year, open 9am-5pm, 7 days a week (excluding the days closed) also open Friday & Saturday evenings throughout the summer months. The B&B rooms were fully renovated in the old farmhouse (previously Hassop Station inn in the 20th century) in 2019, with 6 rooms and one self-catering apartment. Hassop Station has branched out again in 2024, where apartments A&B were fully renovated in the old dance hall next to the farmhouse. The luxury apartments are available to book 365 days a year and are the perfect home from home with views of the Peak District countryside.

Bakewell 1.5 miles, Chatsworth House 3.6 miles. Hassop Café & Cycle Hire on site. The apartment sleeps 4, with 1 King/Twin room & 1 sofa bed in the living room.

Neighbourhood information

Hassop Station is located just out of the town centre, in the quiet and scenic area of Hassop. Bakewell is a very short drive from Hassop Station, and around a 35 minute walk on the Monsal Trail. Monsal Head is a picturesque viewing point just off of the Monsal Trail you can travel down the trail from Hassop Station on foot or by bike - this is generally a must see for guests. Chatsworth Farm shop and Chatsworth House are also a short drive away from the accommodation, which guests can travel to from the doorstep via the Peak Sightseer open top bus that runs throughout the summer months. There are also many other beautiful & historic villages and towns to visit nearby.
