Llanberis is the gateway to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and Mount Pleasant sits front and centre in this famous mountain village.
Back at the house though, you may find you'll want to stay in a bit more than planned! Compeltely renovated in 2023, Mount Pleasant has been redesigned with the comfort of a large group of explorers in mind. There is plenty of off-street parking and a huge terraced patio to the rear for outside cooking and dining. An utility room with essential washer dryer leads to a kitchen planned with hungry and thristy entertainers in mind- a 3 oven range cooker and double fridges and freezers should take care of most! Also downstairs is a dining area with a huge live-edge slab of timber for a centrepiece dining table, a large sitting room as well as a separate snug and downstairs shower room.
On the 1st floor you'll find four of the six bedrooms and two of the five bathrooms; all are generous and beautifully designed meaning there will be no short straws drawn in your group. The two 2nd floor bedrooms have impressive double height ceilings into the dormers and there is a further snug with very cool floor cushions up here as well as another two bathrooms.
A hovel in the hills this is most certainly not!

Stock up on mountaineering essentials at Joe Brown, Crib Goch or V12 outdoor shops in the village, grab some supplies from the well equipped Spar and head off for the day. The start of the Llanberis Path up Yr Wyddfa is only a few hundred yards away or you can catch the Sherpa bus service from the village to easily explore quieter but equally dramatic peaks in Eryri (Snowdonia). The less active may prefer to take the mountain railway to the summit while rest days are prefectly spent exploring the lake (there are plenty of SUP, boat and kayak hire places on the shore) or just diving in off the pontoon and swimming around the lagoons. There's also an excellent Slate Museum (free entry) and Lake Railway. The village is also plentifully provisioned with cafe's, restaurants and pubs, including the famous 'Heights' opposite.
