    Compact and comfy. Oven, hob and microwave that didn't require a science degree to operate. The view across the valley was superb, especially as the sun went down and illuminated the houses.

Featuring stunning views the ground floor apartment has decking and an enclosed garden. The one bedroom accommodation offers free Wi-Fi and roadside parking. Towels, bed linen and a hairdryer are provided and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are included. The bathroom has an over bath shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven & hob, washer, fridge freezer and microwave. A kettle and toaster, iron and ironing board are included. Tea, Coffee, sugar, UHT milk, Salt and pepper are provided for your use. The living room has a comfortable double sofa bed, blackout curtains, dining table and a smart tv, where you can access your own Netflix, You Tube and Amazon accounts . There is a separate dressing room with a wardrobe which can be used for storage. The bedroom with blackout blind has a double bed, dressing table, TV and wardrobe. There are two popular country pubs within a five minute walk, both serve great food. The Raggalds is a popular wedding and entertainment venue and has a range of Christmas party nights. Headley golf club is nearby, also great for entertainment and weddings. There are many country walks, places to cycle and local attractions, Ogden Water being one and is within walking distance Howarth, Thornton (Birth place of the Bronte's), Halifax, Skipton and The Yorkshire Dales are nearby places of interest. Bring your binoculars to watch planes take off and land in the distance from Leeds Bradford airport. Walk out from the living room onto the decking to see stunning views, and watch the sunrise in the morning.
Welcome to Mountain View. My name is Yvonne and this is my first year of hosting. I have really enjoyed my experience as a host so far. I feel a great sense of pride to hear the fantastic reviews and I love to hear that guests have enjoyed their stay and will return. I am usually only five minutes away if you need me Enjoy the breath taking views and have a lovely stay!
Queensbury village is home of the famous Black Dyke brass band, there is a heritage site within the village. There is a Tesco and Coop in the village and many cafes and take always. Ka-Fei House, one mile away is well worth a visit. There are many country walks. Five minutes walk away are two country pubs offering great food. The Raggalds offers entertainment and has a great terrace with pizza oven. Beyond The Junction pub you can join The Great Norther Trail. Ogden water with great walks is a 5 minute drive away. Shibden Valley is stunning and leads to The Shibden Mill Inn, an award winning gastro pub and Shibden Hall, home of Anne Lister, TV’s Gentleman Jack. Howarth, Bronte country is only a 15 minute drive.Halifax Piece hall only 15 minutes drive, hosts concerts for artists including Gary Barlow, Ollie Murs, Tom Jones, Status Quo, Ellie Sax and many more. It also has bars, shops and restaurants. The Yorkshire Dales, are just an hour’s drive away and well worth a visit and Skipton only half an hour drive. Queensbury its self has some stunning views and you do not have to travel far to see them. If you are a Highland Cattle lover they are not far away, a short walk to see them grazing in their field.
