    The cottage is lovely, very clean and cosy. Only complaint is the hill which obviously isn't anyone fault but it is incredibly steep.

    Excellent location, although if you didn’t know it is Ona. Very steep hill absolutely fine for us but maybe if older or not very mobile it wouldn’t be the best option for you. The cottage is wonderfully clean and stylish and everything you need.

Nine Cooper Lane is a newly renovated property, dating back to 1860’s. The property is a short walk to Holmfirth centre, which is full of local amenities, whether you’re looking for an independent cafe or bar, visiting the popular Picturedrome, or Last of the Summer Wine landmarks. Cooper Lane is in the centre of Holmfirth and as with most of the roads in the area, you can expect a steep hill! The property is towards the top of the hill, so please do bear this in mind prior to booking your stay, and free parking is available on the road (permit pass provided, which must be returned on checkout). If you have a few too many shopping bags from your visit to the centre, the H3 mini bus (stand D) comes up Cooper Lane past the house every hour (except Sundays).
Bringing you to one of our favourite places where you can have great coffee, local food, amazing scenery and appreciate good music.
Nine Cooper Lane is central Holmfirth so you’re about as close as you can get to the action! We’re also conveniently located next to Victoria Park and several walking trails. Holmfirth has a great variety of independent bars, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, and other attractions including live music.
