The room was spacious with a very comfy bed. It had everything you could possibly need for a stay. The hosts were very friendly and made the extra effort to make us feel at home. They went over and above to make sure our young son had a goody bag...

We started this venture after our kids flew the nest, and in their honour, each room is named after the capital city that they've each ended up closest to - Paris, London and New York. There’s beer and wine awaiting you, along with plenty of snacks, tea and coffee. And if you want breakfast, there’s croissants, sourdough breads, lemon curd, jam and Staffordshire oatcakes, all home made, as well as cooked options from our menu. Gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan bread and oatcakes can be requested but please notify us in advance as everything is prepared fresh. And finally, our family room sleep two adults and two children officially, HOWEVER as a family of five ourselves, we are all too aware of the costly implications of that third child, when it comes to hotels! Therefore, as long as you're don't mind muddling in together, and let me know in advance, we're happy for the room to be occupied by five.
We're about 5 minutes from the M6, Junction 16, and equidistant from Manchester and Birmingham. Trentham Gardens and the Monkey Forest are a short drive away, as well as hands-on museums in the Potteries and the Emma Bridgewater Factory shop and painting cafe.
