Our comfortable B&B sits in a tranquil neighbourhood with views of the Cuillin Hills and open croftland and just a 12-minute walk (1km) from Portree’s vibrant town centre. It’s the perfect base to explore Skye’s iconic landscapes and unwind in comfort. Discover Skye’s Beauty from Orchard House Make Orchard House your base for exploring the Isle of Skye’s breathtaking sights. Hike the rugged Cuillin Hills, marvel at the magical Fairy Glen, or wander Portree’s colourful pier, where cozy pubs with live music and fresh seafood restaurants await. Our peaceful location offers a relaxing retreat after your adventures, with easy access to Portree’s shops and attractions. Pleasant Rooms with Modern Comforts Our four spacious guest rooms are designed for your comfort, each featuring private ensuite bathrooms with power showers or soaking bathtubs, sturdy oak furniture, crisp white bedlinens, soft fluffy towels (including washcloths!), smart Sony TV with Firestick, hairdryer, hospitality tray (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, biscuits), mini fridge, and free WiFi.

Breakfast Join us in our sunny breakfast room from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM for our complimentary basic breakfast of tea or coffee, toast, cereal, and juice. Or indulge and choose Lance’s hearty made to order full cooked Scottish breakfast or the lighter continental breakfast. Simply order onsite the night before and pay on departure for ultimate flexibility. Laundry Service Travel light with our full-service laundry wash. Drop off a small load of lightly soiled, colourfast, tumble dryer-safe clothing in the morning (request a laundry basket), and we’ll have it washed at 30°C with Persil non-biological powder, tumble-dried, and neatly folded by 5:00 PM. Pay on departure for convenience.
