Only a stone’s throw from Otley town centre the apartment is spacious and recently renovated. It is a cosy hideaway on the lower ground floor, so please do not expect a panoramic vista.
There are excellent public transport links to the surrounding Yorkshire and Lancashire beauty spots, Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate and only 10 minute drive to Leeds-Bradford airport. There is also a regular bus service to the airport from Otley; the A3 flyer.
Your apartment is steeped in history. Built in 1868, your stay is at the former Managers offices of Dawson, Payne and Eliot - engineers of the industrial Victorian era, who designed and patented the world famous, revolutionary Wharfedale presses. The property has been fully insulated and renovated. I have left one original detail visible on the interior, to evidence the age of the building... see if you can spot it in the lobby.
Nestled on the North side of the Chevin forest and a gateway to the Dales, Otley is a picturesque, friendly, bustling market town with plenty of pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
