Overstream Annexe is ideal for singles or couples looking for a base to explore this lovely Exmoor village, and the wider National Park. The accommodation is attached the the owner's property next door, but is entirely self contained with private entrance, with private outside area.
Sleeps 2. Open plan kitchen-living area downstairs. Double bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Wood-burner in the sitting area. Private patio with outside seating. Off-road parking for one car beside the property. Towels and bed linen provided. Electricity and heating included. Wireless internet. Easy level walk to all amenities in the village. Great base for walking on Exmoor. Arrive from 4 pm. Depart by 10 am. Sorry, no dogs and no smoking.
Downstairs, the open-plan kitchen and living area comprises a 3-seater sofa and armchair in front of the wood-burning fire, for cosy evenings in the cooler months. Exmoor is situated in South West Britain, specifically across West Somerset and North Devon. Often referred to as England's best kept secret, Exmoor is a wonderful holiday destination for anyone looking for a holiday in the great outdoors! There is so much to see and do, from short walks to long expeditions across the moors, horse riding, taking in a safari or sight-seeing at your own pace around the 'picture postcard' villages and hamlets.
Often described as 'the jewel in Exmoor's crown', Porlock has a long history of settlements existing on or near the site of the existing village, with stone-age remains only a short distance away. Porlock is a working village and boasts a number of pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and independent shops. There are few more delightful surroundings than Porlock Vale, nestled at the foot of Porlock Hill, bounded to the north by its shingle ridge and breathtaking views towards the Bristol Channel and to the south by the rolling hills of Exmoor National Park.
