Set on the edge of Snowdonia National Park in 7 acres of woodland and overlooking the lake-side village of Llanberis, this imposing Victorian country house offers two quality self-catering holiday apartments and a converted Coach House Cottage. Originally the home to the Dinorwig Quarry manager & his family, the main house has gone through many changes since it's relocating in the mid 1830's. After several extensions, it now comprises over 22 rooms in total, and is home to the current owners as well as the ground floor Peris apartment and the large first floor Padarn apartment. Between these 2 apartments & the converted Coach House Cottage, we can accommodate in excess of 18 people in total, making us an ideal choice for family reunions, large parties or groups of friends, or individuals, couples, or young families. We offer laundry facilities and a drying room, and there's ample private parking for over a dozen cars on our 7-acre property. We are only an 8-10 minute walk from the village of Llanberis and its amenities, as well as Snowdon and Padarn Lake railways, Electric Mountain, and both the National Slate Quarry Museum and Padarn Park are literally on our doorstep.

Greg & Sandy bought Glan-y-Bala in the late 90's and rebuilt the Coach House Cottage from ruins. Now, Richard is managing as many of the day-to-day affairs as posiible, as well as trying to look after 7 acres single-handedly.
