The Parsonage House was built in 1906. It is a comfortable and beautiful home that the host has restored in the "arts and crafts" style of the early twentieth century. It is equipped with modern conveniences. The property is in a private and secluded location. There is a barbecue and an outdoor eating area, plus a garden with further tables and chairs affording views over the surrounding countryside.
I enjoy welcoming guests to The Parsonage House so that they can relax and unwind in this wonderful location.
The property is located in the village of Thurlstone which is approximately one mile from the market town of Penistone. The Huntsman at Thurlstone is a friendly country pub which offers at least six real ales, home made food served Thursday to Sunday and welcomes well behaved children and dogs. Down the road in Penistone you'll find a range of pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants, as well as an independent cinema and a Tesco "Extra". There are plenty of nearby walks including the Trans Pennine Trail and the Penistone Boundary Walk. The grounds of nearby Cannon Hall are ideal for a leisurely stroll, exercising dogs and enjoying a cake and cuppa at the Thyme Terrace.
