Stylishly decorated throughout the property can sleep 4 with one king sized bedroom and a luxurious double sofa bed in the living area. PLEASE note the sofabed is available on request and there is a small additional charge per night. There is also a bike store area for keen cyclists! The apartment has a wonderful open plan living, dining area that seats 4 and kitchen. There is a breakfast bar that can also be used as a dedicated workspace for your laptop. There are lovely views of the village and the sky from the windows, great for stargazing from bed! The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons, for a relaxing start to the day, or for cooking up an evening meal after a hard day sight-seeing! The living area is bright and stylish, it includes a comfy sofa to relax, two stylish armchairs and modern Smart TV with a Sky Entertainment Package plus Netflix. The sofa is also a sofa bed that comfortably sleeps 2. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require the sofa bed so we can provide bedding. The bright and spacious bedroom has a good sized king bed. It comes with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries. There is a modern shower-room and the apartment has a travel cot and high chair available for young families. In the downstairs entrance hall, there is storage space for two adult bikes. The property has free on street parking. Avening is a picturesque Cotswolds village located around three miles from Tetbury and Nailsworth. The Bell is less than a 5 minutes walk. A traditional country pub with a warm and friendly welcome. It has a wide selection of real ales and drinks as well as a delicious menu of home-cooked Indian cuisine. The lovely town Tetbury is less than 10 minutes drive away. Well worth a visit it has lots of shops and places to eat. Don't miss the Highgrove Royal Gardens and lots of unique antique shops. The artistic, market town of Nailsworth is also less than a 10 minutes drive. Nailsworth is renowned for its selection of award-winning restaurants, pubs and cafes. In nearby Longfords is the 17th century Weighbridge Inn, home of the famous 2in1 pie which was created at the pub over 40 years ago and remains a firm favourite with customers. It's about a 40 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Supermarkets: There's a Tesco superstore around an 8 minute drive in Tetbury. Or you will find a Morrisons, Co-op & Tesco also around an 8 minute drive in Nailsworth. Avening can be explored on foot, there are many wonderful walks and places to cycle. You may need a car if you want to explore the surrounding area. The nearest train station is Kemble, approx 15 minute drive. There are local buses however please check timetables in advance.
