Located just outside Wenhaston on a quiet country lane, the Cottage is tucked away off-road. It’s secluded and tranquil with aspects towards the trees of the garden and the neighbouring paddocks. The bird feeder by the patio attracts garden birds plus occasional visitors which may include woodpeckers, pheasants, hawks, warblers and rabbits. Nightingales and owls can sometimes be heard. Although peaceful, we’re within easy reach of the coast.

We’ve been running the Garden Cottage since 2015. Both semi-retired, having worked in higher education and computer program design and development. Love cooking, bird watching, playing tennis, golf and backgammon. When not playing golf or tennis, our time is spent in the garden. Steve & Feri We’re usually on hand for help and advice. The area is great for walking and cycling, the village has a tennis court and Halesworth golf course is nearby. Local features include pubs, village hall cafe, Wootten’s plant nursery, Thorington Theatre and local beautiful heaths. Nearby towns and villages: Market town of Halesworth and coastal towns of Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness For bird lovers, places to visit amongst many other are, Minsmere, Hen Reed beds and The Owl Sanctuary. Car is essential. There is ample off-road parking right outside the cottage.
