Lucy's childhood was largely equestrian and skiing. She won The Horse of The Year Show and has a Swiss Gold for skiing and was asked to train for the British team at the age of 11yrs. She has a Private Pilot's Licence (now lapsed). She trained at The Cordon Bleu Cookery School then went on to teach at Pru Leith's. Adult life has taken her through the worlds of Advertising, Property and Management Consultancy but being a Libran her love lies with interior design and being surrounded by beautiful things. So she leapt at the chance to take on the total renovation of Prince Hill House as a retirement project. She also used to run a canine country club but her clients refused to accept her suggestion of retiring and have followed her from Berkshire to Wiltshire. There is therefore never a time when she is not shadowed by a dog or four. She is married to David, retired from the city, who takes responsibility for the garden and grounds. They have two sons, one baby grand daughter and a daughter, Polly. After graduating from Bristol University Polly joined The London Central School of Speech and Drama, hence Polly's Penthouse is now available for B&B.
