Pwll Cabin, formerly known as Little Trees, is a gorgeous Scandinavian style log cabin offering super rural views, enjoying a wonderful secluded spot tucked away down a single track lane in the village of Marros. The cabin is surrounded by farmland, yet only a one-mile walk from the coast path above Marros Sands and 3 miles from the sandy beach at Amroth. Constructed traditionally from solid round logs that add warmth and texture to the inside, it is a cosy retreat and with full central heating supplied from an eco-friendly Biomass boiler, it is ideal whatever the season. A sloping path leads to the cabin, its elevated position maximises the views - enjoy a leisurely coffee or glass of wine on the sheltered verandah in front of the cabin while you soak up the view over the trees and across the valley; the birdsong is glorious and wildlife lovers will be in their element. Step into the open plan living space with its compact yet well-equipped kitchen area, plus comfortable sofa and dining table; a double bedroom and modern shower room with fabulous walk-in “rainfall” shower complete the accommodation. Steps from the verandah lead down to a lower gravelled patio area with picnic bench, a super sheltered spot to dine alfresco on a summer’s evening. The area abounds in footpaths and bridleways, take the footpath running past the garden to enjoy circular walks or head to the coast, the beaches of Morfa Bychan and Marros being the closest. The Carmarthenshire Coastal Path is within easy reach, the views are stunning heading on to the famous Pendine Sands, 7 miles of golden beach, the location for setting historic Land Speed records. Laugharne, home of Dylan Thomas, is also well worth a visit. Or head west to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starting at Amroth, 3 miles away with its beach-side cafes and pubs, leading onto Wiseman’s Bridge, Saundersfoot and Tenby. The nearest pub, The Green Bridge Inn, is just 1 mile away. Tucked away in rolling countryside, Pwll C...
