Raddicombe Lodge is a 1920'2 Art & Crafts property set in its own grounds, overlooking National Trust land to the sea, with views across Brixham, Lyme Bay and Start Bay. Tucked away in a quiet location in the village of Hillhead. We offer accommodation on a room only basis. There is a communal kitchenette with seating for seven people. Includes a sink, two halogen hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle plus associated cutlery, crockery, glasses etc. Appropriate for light breakfasts or dinner. She was built in 1924 at Philip & Son of Dartmouth and plied her trade between Totnes and Dartmouth until 1965. In her heyday when this impressive ship was the life blood of the river Dart, she could carry almost 500 passengers. Enjoy a nostalgic cruise along the lower reaches of the river Dart in this historic vessel. Greenway House and Gardens, the holiday home of Agatha Christie & Coleton Fishacre, the country home of the D'Oyly Carte family, are both within easy reach of Raddicombe Lodge.
