The late 19th century barn sits amid Somerset pastures, grazed by horses, cows and sheep. It has wonderful views that will instantly calm you. The barn was converted just over 20 years ago retaining much of its original character, while providing a high standard of comfort. It sleeps four plus a cot and suits families or couples wanting to explore Somerset or enjoy the peace of the countryside
Richard and Lisa have been welcoming guests to Red Tiles for twenty years. We live ourselves about 15 miles away and Richard grew up in Stoney Stratton, the hamlet where Red Tiles sits.
Red Tiles lies about 1 mile from Evercreech, on the outskirts of the farming hamlet of Stoney Stratton. The area is very rural, predominantly dairy farming, with rolling hills and rich pasture all around. There are many local footpaths and lovely walks can be managed right from the doorstep. Wells, Glastonbury and The Bath and West showground are close by, while Bristol, Bath, Longleat, Stourhead are all within a forty minutes drive.
