About this property
Located within a 14th-century coaching inn, the award-winning Best Western Rose and Crown Hotel is located just a 15 minutes’ walk from the center of historic Colchester. The Rose and Crown offers guests both modern and oak-beamed rooms, which all include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs with Freeview channels, tea and coffee-making facilities, and private bathrooms. Food and drink at the Rose and Crown is provided at both the formal hotel restaurant and the Tudor Bar and Brasserie with its real log fires. All food is home-produced and made using seasonal ingredients. Kitchen is closed for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is unaffected and is served daily: Mon - Fri 6.30-9.30 / Sat - Sun and Bank Holidays 7.30 -10.30 Bar is open daily from 5.30PM - 10.30PM Please note that we hold functions, weddings, parties etc. On these occasions, our complimentary car park might be very busy and we might not have a space for you to park. There are some alternative car parks within walking distance of the hotel. *Please delete the whole section regarding to COVID.
