A detached lodge situated on a quiet site which borders Greystoke Forest, a most tranquil rural location with red squirrels and roe deer among its visitors.. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds Bedroom 3: Bunk (3ft) Beds Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair.. Large landscaped garden with sitting-out areas and an enclosed decked area. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced pond in the grounds, 10 yards away.. Rowanburn Lodge, a detached lodge, is beautifully situated overlooking Duke’s Pond, in a small, private development located close to Greystoke, with many benefits such as free Wi-Fi and an outdoor decked area. The area is a haven for wildlife, including red squirrels, hares, roe deer and many species of birds. There is a red squirrel box on the decking with food for the friendly squirrels to feast on. This holiday lodge is situated centrally between Keswick, Penrith, Carlisle and Ullswater making it an ideal location for exploring the northern Lake District and Cumbria. The countryside surrounding the lodge is unspoilt, with Greystoke Forest on one side and stunning views to Blencathra on the other. Nearby are the charming villages of Greystoke, Caldbeck and Hesketh Newmarket with their own pubs and local shops. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles. Free WiFi
