Whether you’re planning a lively group getaway or seeking a serene family retreat, our beautiful holiday cottages cater to all your needs. Perfectly situated, on a small working farm, explore the beauty of North & East Yorkshire. Just a 30-minute drive to York city centre. We have two modern barn conversions, that can be joined to create one large property - ideal for large family getaways or groups. Our nearest neighbours are over a mile away, so you'll have lots of peace and tranquility. Ewe Cottage sleeps 12 guests, whilst Lamb's Pasture can sleep up to 14. Each property has its own hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, large dining tables and comfy living rooms.
Our host, Simon, has a 100% 5 star rating thus far - nothing is too much trouble for him! Whether you're looking for local information, a fully licensed mixology experience, a local chef to feed your tribe, or even a helicopter ride over the local countryside - Simon can cater to your every needs. Simon leaves in the neighbouring farmhouse, and is as happy to host you as he is to leave you in peace - rest assured he's around if needed.
There's loads to do in the local area. Being in a rural location, there beautiful walks. There are canals, rivers and lakes to fish in. Golf Courses to have a swing at. The cute little market towns of Selby and Pocklington are close by, and the stunning Roman city of York is just a half hour drive away. Further afield there's the breathtaking Yorkshire Coastline, and the 2017 European City of Culture - Hull is a 40 minute drive. For rainy days we've got Xscape and 2 x Designer Outlet Shopping Centres close by. For the kids (and big kids!) there's Allerthorpe Water Park on our doorstep. And for cyclists there are hundreds of quality routes straight out of the farm gates.
