Located in the heart of the picturesque North Yorkshire Fishing Port of Whitby, Sanders House has two bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 adults, and is spread over two floors. The ensuite king sized and twin bedrooms are located on the second floor - there is also a second bathroom for the twin. On the first floor there is a kitchen/dining area and separate lounge with a Smart TV. The cottage is centrally heated and WiFi, electricity, bed sheets and towels are included in the rental cost. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Please note that the property can only be reached by an outdoor staircase, stretching from the ground to the first floor, which may be unsuitable for people with limited mobility. Also, there is no parking or garden at the property.

You can visit the pretty harbour and lighthouses to see the sunset or go whale watching and don't forget to check out the 199 steps leading to Whitby Abbey for a dose of history. Also, make sure to visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum to learn more about Cook and see some of the wonderful exhibits. Whitby is a great place to explore all the wonderful things North Yorkshire has to offer. It is close to Robin Hood's Bay, Sandsend and Staithes and has a great deal of history and beautiful sights. It’s also within comfortable driving distance of the larger towns of Scarborough and York.
