Southerndown is a quaint coastal village popular with visitors all year round. Ideally located for a seaside or walking holiday, the village benefits from a traditional local pub serving great food and a popular restaurant on Beach Road. Southerndown historic walled gardens and Dunraven Bay are equally popular for picnics and relaxing strolls to admire the magnificant coastal scenery. The Heritage Centre is well worth a visit for more information. The lodge is conveniently located on the hourly bus route which offers the opportunity to explore more of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan.
