Hi, my name is Katherine and Im from The Lake District. For me, Sunnycote is the perfect getaway for large families and their pooches. There are many wonderful walks and you bypass the depressing traffic and parking problems of the Lake District whilst getting all the benefits. Staying here, you are central for visits to Silverdale, the whole Lake District including easy train access to Eskdale and the Western Lakes, the Trough of Bowland, beaches, and the Yorkshire Dales. The historic city of Lancaster is also only half an hour drive. You are also very close to the M6. I run an amazing equine therapy centre in Ambleside called Meditate With Horses. Give me a call if you fancy a long lazy cuddle with my rescue horses. I look forward to greeting you and yours.
