Shore Croft has been designed and built to maximise the wonderful views from every angle. With Gairloch only 20 minutes away it is an ideal base from which to explore the unique landscape of Wester Ross, Torridon and beyond.
I take great pride in providing an excellent service for our guests and enjoy the time we spend as a family also enjoying Shore Croft. I love luxury accommodation, walking and wildlife photography.
A twenty-minute drive over the headland from Gairloch takes you to the little village of Poolewe on the sheltered south side of Loch Ewe where the River Ewe rushes down from Loch Maree.
Across the bay from Poolewe are the famous Inverewe Gardens, designed and planted by Osgood Mackenzie. Carry on along the coast for another 5 miles and you will come to the small village of Aultbea and then onto Mellon Charles at the head of the loch.
From Shore Croft there are views to the Torridon mountains and out to the open sea, where on a clear day you can see the outer Hebrides. Shore Croft and the small bungalow next door share the pebbly beach, and are on the furthest edge of the settlement.
