Hello! I'm Paula Foster, and I manage 30 properties all at The Bay Filey, through my own business Filey Bay Direct. I am the largest independent host at The Bay Resort, and as an owner since 2014, I know lots about the Bay and the local area so can advise on places to visit and eat. I'm happy to help you select the best property or properties for your next stay at The Bay. I will gradually be adding these here but in the meantime please contact me to check all availability for your dates. The largest can sleep up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms. I have cottages, apartments, beach houses and meadow lodges next door or close to each other too, and some with sea or meadow views, so do contact me if you are looking for a group booking or something a bit special. When I am not working, I am busy at home in Sheffield where I live with my husband Tim, our 3 teenagers and our cockapoo Ellie! We are not local so guests let themselves in (using the key in the key safe) and have privacy.

Silversands House is one of the many properties on The Bay Filey resort, but is unique, as it is the only one with the living space on the first floor to make the most of the stunning bay and sea views. Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are downstairs, and 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom are upstairs, along with the open plan kitchen, dining and living room with balcony off. Guests have free access to the resort pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Dog-friendly too - up to 2 dogs welcome with our permission - please mention dogs on booking. Dogs must not be left alone and should be kept out of the bedrooms and off the furniture otherwise we will charge for extra cleaning and any damages.

The Bay is a purpose built holiday resort on the cliffs to the south of Filey, a traditional seaside resort. All guests have a free leisure pass for the pool, sauna, steam room and gym. There is an onsite pub (John Paul Jones) serving meals all day. There is a pizzeria / bar called the Four Cats. There is a playground, table tennis table, arcade, shop and football pitch. Guests can hire the tennis court, or book archery and other activities for a fee, subject to availability. There are now 2 paths to the beach - one is around a 10-15 min walk at Primrose Valley. The other is the coastal path to Hunmanby Gap, around a 20-25 min walk. The Bay Filey is ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire coast and Wolds. Get back to nature with a visit to RSPB Bempton Cliffs, or have fun in the water on the nearby beaches, the North Yorks Water Park or the Alpamare pool, slides and spa near Scarborough. Plenty to eat and drink too, both in walking distance or a drive. Very dog-friendly too so bring your furry friends too (Silversands House and Sea Air apartment only - max 2 dogs with our permission in advance).
