This beautiful property is the South Wing of Edwinstowe Hall, constructed in 1701 for the First Earl of Scarborough. The property is right next door to Sherwood Forest and neighbours Saint Mary's Church, where legend has it Robin Hood and Maid Marion were married. The Hall itself sits in on the heart of the village and has many pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops within easy walking distance. it is stunningly decorated and furnished to a modern standard having recently been renovated.
We (Nik and Rachael) love being able to share part of Edwinstowe Hall with our guests. The building is very special and is of significant historical interest and it's a real pleasure sharing it. We also love the village of Edwinstowe with all the shops, bars and resturants on offer, not to mention stunning Sherwood Forest where we love to walk our dogs.
We are right next to Sherwood Forest and the famous Major Oak. The village has several pubs, resturants and cafes all within a 5 minute walk.
