This is the real Scotland. A small village with a country store. A lovely typical Scotland home, tastefully furnished. A beautiful trail along the cliffs. Ocean view, sheep, a country feeling. We loved it.

Traditional Scottish croft, newly refurbished to a high standard, we offer a private large garden, with views in the distance of the open blue water of the sea. there is 1 double bedroom and the second room has 2 single beds, a newly fitted kitchen with full oven and washing machine, a newly fitted large walk in shower room. a snug living room just off the kitchen and also a separate dinning room. I can also offer secure storage for cycles/motor cycles , surf/ paddle boards, canoes / kayaks , fishing equipment , buckets and spades , at the cottage ( if you wish to bring them ).
recently retired sales lady, moved to Scotland to enjoy the out door life, loves gardening, walking the dog, and meeting people.
Portskerra is a old Scottish fishing village with a small harbour, only half a mile off the famous NC500, we have a small family run post office and little shop, a coffee boffy, just round the corner is the famous Melvich Beach, there is a local electric car charging point within walking distance from the cottage. Thurso is about 15 miles away with supermarkets and lots of local restaurants
