The basement apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The bedrooms are below ground level so they do not have any view but they do have windows which open onto a lightwell. The kitchen dining area is on the ground floor and it very light with views out both ways and also roof lights. There is a private entrance and all of the spaces in the apartment are private and reserved for the guests. The bathroom is a bit small without a bath but the shower is a good size and there is an opening rooflight. The property is attached to the side of the main house but has no neighbours above or below. The rear garden patio is small but adequate for sitting outside with chairs and a table and also smoking is allowed there. All bedding with sheets and duvets are provided and the bathroom is also fully equipped with towels and shampoo and conditioner. There is a single bed in the salon outside the 2 main bedrooms and there is also a sofa bed there. The apartment has its own private entrance. There is a self check in system and the keys are kept in a key safe so check in is possible anytime after 3pm.
I have lived all of my life in London. I am very happy to advise guests on activities in London or help with public transport or any other questions. London is a fantastic city to visit with so much to see and do all year round.
Tufnell Park is a quiet residential area but very convenient with easy transport connections to get to Central London. There are also many excellent food shops in the area such as Lidl, Morrisons and Waitrose and a large number of smaller independent shops along the Holloway Road and also Seven Sisters Road. Camden Market is very close with many hundreds of exciting stalls and food venues plus all the latest fashions. Arsenal Emirates stadium is also one kilometre away for sports fans. In addition we have swimming pools at Highbury and Archway and also many gyms in the local area. There is plenty of local nightlife at Camden including the Camden Jazz Club and the O2 Kentish Town Forum plus many music pubs and venues with concerts every night like the Dublin Castle (Camden), Downstairs at the Dome (Tufnell Park), Koko (Camden), The Garage (Highbury), The Underworld (Camden), The Roundhouse (Camden).
