Once the working studio of Victorian artist Creswell Hartley Desmond RA and his sister Phoebe, a wood carver (A sample of Creswell’s work can be seen at St Barbs museum in Lymington, and the Lectern at St John’s in Boldre was designed by Creswell and carved by Phoebe, the central panel of the North Window is dedicated to the family) The accommodation has been tastefully converted into a first floor apartment Holiday Let. In the NEW FOREST National park. Within walking distance to the open forest with roaming ponies, cattle, donkeys ,(pigs in the autumn). Two good pubs , village shop and play park all walkable from Spout House Studio.
